Montvale police are asking residents to keep an eye on children and pets after a report of a fox bite early Tuesday.

This comes after a couple of coyote attacks in Bergen County. In at least one instance, a coyote tested positive for rabies. It is unclear whether the fox in Montvale is rabid.
