A Montvale gym raised money for veterans by holding a pushup contest.
Military Special Forces members, trainers and gym members all took part in the challenge.
Proceeds will be donated to a New Jersey veteran in need.
Lance Corporal Jonah Eisenstark previously received a donation from the group running the fundraiser to help make his home more wheelchair accessible.
“I’ve had injuries, so my life has become a little bit difficult,” Eisenstark says. “This group actually helped me renovate my home…and to give me a little bit more individuality. It’s probably the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me.”
The winner of the contest was a gym trainer who completed 105 pushups in 60 seconds. Second place went to a Navy Seal veteran who completed 60 pushups.
This is the fourth year the Gym at Montvale has done this fundraiser. They have raised about $30,000 for New Jersey veterans.
