A Montclair couple vacationing in Barbados has gone missing after going jet skiing.
The Royal Barbados Police say in a release that Oscar Suarez and Magdalena Devil were last seen Monday afternoon in Holetown Beach when the rented jet skis.
When they didn't return after about 30 minutes, police and the Barbados Coast Guard searched the waters but couldn't find them or the jet skis. Police say both were wearing life jackets.
The 32-year-old Suarez and 25-year-old Devil arrived in Barbados last Saturday and were scheduled to stay for a week.
Adlyn Kerr, a co-worker of Suarez, says she cried when she heard the news.
"He's a good guy. No matter what you are doing, his hand is always there. He'll make you laugh, he's very funny. Very funny guy. Very lovely person,” she says.
Family members of Suarez and Devil have flown out to Barbados while they wait for news.
