Monmouth University was able to withstand their opponent, and the wild weather, earning a 31-24 victory Saturday over Bryant University.
The Hawks were back on their home Kessler Field after spending the last three games on the road.
With a little more than a minute to go in the fourth quarter, quarterback Cody Williams found Reggie White Jr. for a 50-yard score. White finished the day with 85 yards and two touchdowns.
Monmouth coach Kevin Callahan says he hopes the win will give the Hawks some momentum as they get ready for more conference matchups.
The Hawks improved to 2-3 on the season.
