Another day of near record heat combined with a lack of lifeguards could mean the potential for people to disregard warnings and go into the ocean. 
There is a moderate risk of rip currents Wednesday that drops to a low risk Thursday. Beachgoers should not be lured into a false sense of security. Swimming with no lifeguards present puts yourself and others at risk.
