There was a mascot kidnapping at a popular New Jersey concert venue.
New Jersey State Police say that someone stole an M&M mascot display from the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel sometime after the KIDZ BOP concert Sunday night. The theft was reported Monday morning.
“We’ll start this off by informing you that there were no signs of melted chocolate at the scene, so we’re fairly certain they didn’t melt. And no, they didn’t quit and walk off the job,” state police said in a Facebook post.
The post continued, “Though it’s hard to resist grabbing a handful of these delicious treats from a candy bowl, it shouldn’t be hard to resist stealing their displays—no matter how cool they may look.”
State police say that they want the display back. Anyone who may have any information about the theft should call 732-441-4500 Ext. 7207. Anonymous tips are welcome.
