At 3 years old, Milkshake, one of the dogs currently residing at Associated Humane Societies in Newark, is ready to meet his new family.
According to AHS volunteers, Milkshake is "the perfect family dog." Weighing in at about 50 pounds, this fun, affectionate boy is great with kids as well as other dogs. He's described as silly and also very easy-going.
"He's a go-with-the-flow kind of dog," volunteers have said, adding that he's calm riding in cars and loves to go for walks.
Milkshake also loves to play, he loves cuddling, affection and being around people, according to AHS. He's also ready to go, having been fully vaccinated and neutered. He's also trained in a lot of basic commands.
