A 63-year-old Elmwood Park man has been charged with sexual assault offenses and endangering the welfare of a child, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office said.

Nicholas Fedorisin was arrested Wednesday after an investigation by the office's Special Victims Unit.

Authorities said the investigation began after Elmwood Park police contacted the prosecutor’s office Sunday about an alleged sexual assault.

Prosecutors said Fedorisin engaged in sexual conduct with a juvenile in Elmwood Park on one or more occasions between 2021 and 2025.

Fedorisin was charged with sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated criminal sexual contact. He was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a court appearance.
