Snow showers are expected this morning between through about 1pm, with accumulations of up to 1 inch possible on colder surfaces. Temperatures will struggle to leave the 30s for much of the day.
Looking ahead, Monday will be the coldest day of the week, featuring a frigid start in the teens and afternoon highs stalled in the upper 20s to low 30s. Our next system arrives Tuesday into Wednesday; while this looks primarily "wet" rather than "white," some ice and snow could mix in, particularly for our northern communities.
Hang in there a significant warmup is on the horizon for the second week of March, which should make quick work of any remaining snowpack!
60s may be on the return for the first time since the fall! This may occur towards the end of our 10-day forecast!
