Michael Rapaport has acted in more than 60 TV shows and movies combined, but his first passion is comedy. He says he looks forward to being back on the road,
filming his podcast and doing live comedy. He will hit the stage at Uncle Vinnie’s Comedy Club in Pleasant Beach this weekend.
“One of the things that I love about doing live standup comedy is that you’re in control of everything, for better or for worse,” he said.
Known as the “King of trash talk,” Rapaport does not shy away from the most controversial topics.
“I don’t pay much attention to anybody that’s got anything negative. Especially when you look up where some of these animals are from. That’s online, you know, that’s Facebook. And if they’re not hating, you’re not creating," he said.
The comedian also says he’s a fan of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” and he "loves every single thing” about the housewives.
Fans of Rapaport can catch him at Uncle Vinnie’s Comedy Club on Friday, April 21 at 7 and 10 p.m., and on Saturday, April 22 at 7 and 10 p.m. (The 7 p.m. show on April 22 is sold out).
