Metuchen convenience store burglarized; suspect still on the loose
Police visited the store Tuesday to collect surveillance video to try an identify the suspect.

A Metuchen convenience store that has been a mainstay for many years on Main Street was burglarized late Monday night.
The owner of Metuchen News told News 12 New Jersey that someone smashed through the glass front door and walked into the store.
News 12 was told the suspect took what they wanted before leaving the store, which is one block away from the police station.
Police visited the store Tuesday to collect surveillance video.
