Well it wasn’t a $1.05 billion winning ticket in Friday
night’s Mega Millions drawing, but a second-tier prizewinning ticket was sold
in Ocean County to the tune of a cool $1 million.
The ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven on Route 88 in Brick.
There were 10 other New Jersey winners that will walk away
with $10,000.
One Michigan ticket matched all five of the five white
balls and the gold Mega ball drawn to win the $1.05 billion Mega
Millions jackpot. The estimated cash value was $776.6 million.
The jackpot resets to a measly $20 million for the next
drawing on Tuesday, Jan. 26.
