Parents, staff and residents will learn more about the plans at a meeting tonight at Jackson Memorial High School.
Rosenauer Elementary School closed this summer. Residents will soon learn which school comes next – Goetz or McAuliffe middle schools. The current high schools will remain, but they will be redistricted. There will only be one high school building.
Superintendent Nicole Pormilli says this is unavoidable after seven years of budget cuts.
The vote is expected at the next meeting in two weeks.
