Dozens gathered to help with the eighth annual Feed Families at Thanksgiving.
Meet the Need, a Jackson-based group, put together the event at Old Ship of Zion Baptist Church in Englishtown.
The group managed to fill 500 totes with everything needed to make a holiday dinner.
Volunteers for Meet the Need are now getting ready for RJ's Toy Chest for Kids in Need and Friends Feed Homeless in January.
Every Saturday they also run a free food pantry in different New Jersey towns.
