A married couple was arrested for stealing thousands of dollars from a youth soccer organization in Old Bridge.
Old Bridge police say the former president of the league, Kathleen Murawski, and her husband who served as field director for the same league, were both arrested and charged for stealing more than $91,000 from a youth organization.
After a six-month investigation, police say it appeared the couple made unauthorized withdrawals of the league’s accounts to fund personal purchases, including expenses related to a Walt Disney World trip and other travel, an extravagant party for their child, Amazon purchases and utility bills for their home.
Police say the couple are former residents of Old Bridge and have since relocated to Manalapan.
