The Maplewood holiday tree lighting won’t go on as originally scheduled this weekend.
The lighting was supposed to take place Sunday from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the gazebo on Springfield Avenue.
Stormy weather expected to impact the state on Sunday caused officials to cancel the event.
It was not clear if or when the event would be rescheduled.
