With the unseasonable temperatures continuing through much of the winter, many businesses are feeling blue over the lack of white, fluffy snow.
Many landscaping contractors turn their trucks into snow plows come winter, but with only about 3 inches of snow this season, many have been sitting in the driveway.
By this time last year, more than 30 inches of snow had fallen across the state.
For Kevin Macken, of K. Macken Landscaping, he says the lack of snow has put a damper on his winter income.
Landscaping companies aren't the only businesses hurting - both hardware and grocery stores say they see a spike in sales whenever the threat of snow looms.
