An 11-year-old boy from Manalapan has made it to the finals of BYJU’S FutureSchool's prestigious Silicon Valley Challenge coding competition.
Pranav Boddu developed his app, appropriately titled "Buddy Finder," to come up with a way for kids his age to find friends with similar interests during the pandemic.
To add a layer of security to the process, the young coder programmed his app in such a way that parents are in control of the signup and other features.
Boddu is now a finalist in the Silicon Valley Challenge for his work.
