A Manahawkin man was found guilty Friday for killing and sexually assaulting a toddler in Camden County in 2016.
Officials say Michael Disporto, 29, was found guilty of murder and aggravated sexual assault in connection with the death of a 2-year-old child.
News 12 New Jersey first reported the story back in 2016 when Disporto was arrested for the heinous attack of his girlfriend's daughter. The child’s death was ruled a homicide due to injuries from blunt force trauma.
Disporto now faces life in prison.
