yesterdayPolice say a man followed a woman as she tried to enter her apartment building last week in Newark, snatched her purse and fled the scene.
Officials say almost $3,000 worth of money orders and $200 cash were in the purse. They say the theft happened on 13th Avenue at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white cobra snake on the back and white Yeezy Boost 350 sneakers. He was also carrying a black cross body bag.
