Officers were called to the station, located near Broadway and West 242nd Street in Van Cortlandt Park, just after 5 p.m. Monday.
The 34-year-old man was slashed in the station's mezzanine, before the turnstiles, according to the NYPD.
Police sources say the man was slashed by another man following a dispute.
Police say EMS took the 34-year-old to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
