A 34-year-old man was shot outside his home during a Facebook Marketplace meetup in Plainfield on Monday afternoon, according to his family.

Ring doorbell camera video shows the victim walking toward a Honda Accord when someone approaches him with a gun.

He ran and was shot in the leg. Family members can be heard screaming for help after the shooting.

The victim’s wife told News 12 he had recently undergone surgery and is now recovering from three gunshot wounds, including one to his femur.

Another family member said the man had been selling a chain online, and met up with the suspects involved in the shooting at a jewelry store a couple of weeks ago.

Police have not released details about the suspects.

It is unclear if any arrests have been made.
