First responders had to rescue a man who was pulled out to sea by a rip current in Seaside Heights.
The rescue happened Monday around 7 p.m. at the Dupont Avenue beach.
According to scuba teams, the 35-year-old man was about 250 yards from the shoreline.
Two members of the scuba team brought him back to shore on a jet ski and sled.
He was evaluated by EMTs and refused further treatment.
