A 64-year-old man was killed just after 12 a.m. Saturday during a Burlington Township house fire, according to authorities.

Police say several people escaped when the fire broke out on Beverly Road. Kenneth Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation. However, officials say it does not appear suspicious.
