A 53-year-old man is in critical condition after being struck by a car in Williamsbridge Friday night, according to the NYPD.

Police responded to a 911 call for a pedestrian struck at the intersection of Boston Road and Corsa Avenue at 11:54 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found the man with trauma to his head and body after he had been struck while crossing Corsa Avenue by a Nissan Altima that was operated by a 31-year-old woman.

EMS rushed the victim to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver remained on scene.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
