A 71-year-old man has been charged in Atlantic County after a crash that killed a boy walking home from a park in Egg Harbor Township.

Prosecutors say Gary Battisti was speeding on Delaware Avenue in May when he veered off the road to avoid hitting another car.

That's when the 13-year-old was struck and killed.
