Officials say a man posted a threat on social media to destroy Perth Amboy police headquarters.
Authorities have charged 30-year-old Rolando Medina with cyber harassment.
Medina must undergo a psychiatric evaluation before he can be released on $2,500 bail.
It's not known if he has a lawyer who can comment on the charges.
