A man accused of kidnapping an 11-year-old girl and taking her to his home in the state of Delaware faced a Passaic County judge on Friday.

Authorities say Darius Matylewich, 27, met the girl while playing online video games. They say he befriended her while playing various games, including the popular game Roblox. Officials say he eventually pushed the girl to meet him in person.

Matylewich is accused of taking the girl from her home without her parents' permission. Matylewich and the girl were found in Delaware. Officials say there was no evidence of sexual assault.

Matylewich faces up to 30 years in prison if he is convicted of the charges.
