Prosecutor: Man kidnaps 11-year-old girl he met playing video games, takes her to Delaware
The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office says Darius Matylewich took the girl from her home without her parents’ knowledge or consent.

yesterdayA 27-year-old Delaware man is accused of kidnapping an 11-year-old girl that he met playing online video games from her Wayne Township home.
The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office says Darius Matylewich took the girl from her home without her parents’ knowledge or consent. She was reported missing at 6:45 a.m. on Sept. 10.
Police eventually located Matylewich and the girl in Bear, Delaware, where Matylewich lives.
Matylewich was charged with kidnapping and endangering the welfare of a child. He was extradited to New Jersey and is expected to have a court hearing on Oct. 16.
