The court appearance for a 19-year-old man accused of trying to cover up the bullying of a Morristown High School freshman who later killed himself was postponed after investigators learned he was arrested over the weekend in an unrelated case.

Michael Conway is now facing possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and drug paraphernalia charges. The 19-year-old's attorney learned about the arrest just before he was scheduled to appear in court to apply for pretrial intervention.

The case has been postponed until Aug. 27.

Conway is accused of making false statements to police about an incident in a parking garage at Century 21 in March, when investigators say two other teens stole money from the victim, 15-year-old Lennon Baldwin.

Last week, one of the juveniles pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit theft and simple assault. The other teen pleaded guilty to theft and obstruction of the administration of law.
