Members from the Division of Consumer Affairs and the New Jersey Attorney General's Office confiscated photographs and videos Saturday from a Clifton studio accused of stiffing its clients.
A Superior Court judge granted the state authority Friday to seize and impound all materials left over by the now defunct Celebration Studios. Some disgruntled brides stopped by as officials started cataloguing the items and moving them to a secure location.
Jennifer Imperial says she lost thousands of dollars and the best proofs from her 2006 wedding to Celebration Studios. "My family's not happy," says Imperial.
Officials say the missing albums and videos could end up back in the rightful hands if all goes well.
