A local charitable organization is making sure that none of New Jersey’s senior citizens are forgotten this holiday season.
The Adopt-a-Senior program provides gifts and visits seniors living in long-term care facilities.
The group delivered more than 350 gifts to residents at Bartley Health Care in Jackson this week.
The residents said that it felt great to be remembered.
“I’m here all the time. I’m a permanent resident here and this is my home,” says Rae Lamar. “They make my home feel special. It’s a good time of the year.”
More information about Adopt-a-Senior can be found at its website.
