Despite the opening of a Starbucks, a family-style Little Falls coffee shop says it will keep on brewing.
The Fine Grind co-owner Rhonda Mallek says nothing will chase her away. However, Mallek admits she did feel a little threatened by the massive chain when she saw her regular customers walking around town with Starbucks cups.
In an effort to get her loyal customers back, she put up a billboard that reads ?We may not be big ? But we?re not bitter.? Mallek says she isn?t fighting with Starbucks. She just wants to make sure smaller coffee shops, like hers, don?t become extinct.
Mallek also insists her slogan is not an insult to Starbucks.
