UPDATE: Friday's meeting has been postponed.

The future of the Long Island Power Authority will be up for debate Friday.
A special legislative committee is asking Long Island residents you weigh in on the possibility of LIPA operating on its own. That means LIPA would cut ties with its third-party manager PSEG.
A contract between LIPA and PSEG is up in 2025.
A draft report released by the committee this week says a switch from the current plan could see rate-payers money and improve infrastructure.
