A bill to expand extended unemployment benefits has passed the state Assembly and Senate.
More New Jerseyans would be eligible under the new measure, and would only apply to claims filed after June 27 of this year.
The bill passed the full Assembly 74-0 and Senate 39-0. It now heads to Gov. Phil Murphy’s desk.
