A Muslim man has filed a lawsuit against the owner of a Morristown bar, claiming he was forcibly removed from the establishment for wearing a turban.

Justice Fitzgerald says the incident happened on June 22 at the Homestead Bar and Kitchen. The Parsippany resident says a manager and worker slammed him into a wall, causing a laceration on his right elbow and a burst blood vessel in his right eye.

A spokesperson for the restaurant denies the allegation and claims that Fitzgerald assaulted staff members before being removed from the bar.
