Dry, sunny and warm weather continues for the region through the week.
Good news for fall weather lovers: the temperatures will finally swing back to normal on Thursday and into the weekend.
In regard to rain, that is still very absent in our forecast. There are signals of maybe a sprinkle for Saturday, but substantial rain is unlikely at this moment, continuing our drought concerns over the next several days.
In addition, winds will become a story into the weekend. Breezy to gusty from 20-30 mph gusts beginning on Wednesday but even stronger on Thursday and into the weekend. Be prepared for breezy winds that also could result in fire weather concerns late into the week due to the dry weather.
FORECAST:
OVERNIGHT: Clear, cool with areas of patchy fog. Lows in the low 50s.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny, not as warm with breezy winds. Highs in the mid-70s. Lows in the low-50s.
THURSDAY: Sunny and windy but much cooler. Highs near 60 degrees. Lows near 40 degrees.
FRIDAY: A mix of sunshine and clouds, still breezy and seasonable. Highs in the low 60s. Lows in the middle 40s.
