Massive 2-alarm fire in the Bronx damages stores: A two-alarm fire in the Bronx severely damaged three stores and gutted a fourth business Monday.  The fire started sometime after 5 a.m. on Allerton Avenue and spread to an adjacent liquor store, subway restaurant, a discount outlet, and a beauty supply shop where investigators believe the fire started. The state’s fire marshals, the FDNY’s Arson and Explosion Squad, and the NYPD converged on the fire. 

Officials: Less than 10% of mailed LI absentee voting applications have been returned: The deadline for New York voters to submit an absentee ballot application is approaching ahead of the June 23 primaries. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the state is allowing all registered voters to vote by mail in the upcoming primaries Nassau and Suffolk have mailed applications to the approximately 1 million Long Island residents eligible to vote -- less than 10% have been returned.

Fotis Dulos' estate ordered to pay mother-in-law $1.9M: The estate of Fotis Dulos, the Connecticut man who killed himself in January after being charged in the murder of his estranged wife, and his home construction company must pay $1.9 million to his wife's mother to settle up unpaid loans, a state judge ruled Monday.

Somers School District, police try to find out who is behind racist, sexist account targeting girls:  Instagram deleted a racist, sexist account targeting girls in Somers after News 12 asked questions. Now, the Somers School District and police are trying to find out who is behind the account. Donna Pascucci's 16-year-old daughter is one of dozens of students in the Somers School District being cyberbullied on Instagram. Families discovered the Instagram account last Thursday. About 45 teens were targeted with hateful, racist captions. One was called obese, another was called a porn star. Some were too graphic to describe.
