Get ready for a blast from the past and celebrate the final days of summer with the Summer of Love 60s Music Festival Saturday, Aug. 26 from 2 to 10 p.m. in Haddon Township. The festival takes place along Haddon Avenue between Strawbridge and Cooper Street. A rain date for this event is set for Sunday, Aug. 27. Festivalgoers can enjoy a lineup of local bands, food trucks, a beer garden and a kids' zone for children featuring an obstacle course, giant slide and more. Carlstadt’s summer concert series kicks off Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Village Green. The band 52nd Street will play Billy Joel favorites. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, enjoy tunes and local food trucks.
