Joint committee discusses future of standardized testing in NJ
A joint committee on public schools took a look at the future of standardized testing in the state during a meeting Tuesday.
The committee discussed if the use of the PARCC test is a good way to judge a student’s process – especially as a graduation requirement.
The state Board of Education is considering getting rid of two of the six state-required tests in high school. Some tests have already been shortened and made easier for students.
