Johnson & Johnson CEO provides timeline of when COVID-19 vaccines may be ready for children

Johnson and Johnson's chairman and CEO says COVID-19 doses specifically for children may be in New Jersey by September, just in time for the new school year.

Johnson and Johnson's chairman and CEO says COVID-19 doses specifically for children may be in New Jersey by September, just in time for the new school year.            
He says trials are currently in the works.
"I think it's likely to occur right in that timeline,” Alex Gorsky. “The good news is that the FDA is already working with companies to establish the clear regulatory guidelines, so that the appropriate data can be collected."
Pfizer and Moderna are also doing trials for a children’s version of the COVID-19 vaccination.
