Members of the Jewish community in New Jersey feel traveling to Israel amid the uncertainty of its leadership is still safe.
Prime Minister Ariel Sharon suffered a significant stroke earlier this week and has had surgery to drain blood from his brain. While he recovers, Vice Premier Ehud Olmert remains acting prime minister.
Barry Schwartz, of West Orange, and his family plan to go to Israel soon. He says he believes the entire Israeli Army as well as the government has made sure that tourists are safe and secure.
