A careful eye was being kept at the Jersey Shore for tidal concerns as Hurricane Joaquin continued to turn out to sea.
Rain still fell hard over the weekend as a separate coastal storm hit the area.
High tide came at 4 a.m. Monday, flooding roads along the coast for a fifth straight day.
Each high tide combined with a northeast wind gives the water a hard time to recede between cycles.
