7ds agoGarfield Jackson Academy in East Orange is an old school building, but it has a brand-new look, thanks to a Jersey Proud effort.
Some artistic volunteers, employees with MetLife, got access to the school this week and brought their paintbrushes.
They painted inspiring murals in the hallways and bathrooms around the school.
They turned bland hallways into colorful messages to inspire students.
