High school students are busy. Besides their studies, many students also have extracurriculars like clubs, sports and their friends.
So, it was pretty “Jersey Proud” of some Manchester Regional students to volunteer their time in Haledon to pick up trash.
Fifty-one students in the environmental science program worked with the police to clean parts of the town. Police made sure they had bright vests and gloves to do the work safely.
Haledon now looks a little cleaner thanks to a group of community-minded teens.
