The Kansas City Chiefs recognized New Jersey's Bryan Gonzalez in their Tribute to the Troops segment at a game this month. 

Gonzalez is a Landing native who is currently deployed to Missouri's Whiteman Air Force Base. He's fresh off a 7-month deployment to Kuwait. 

Gonzalez normally works in the dining hall, but he was recognized because he noticed an improvised explosive device and alerted base security, possibly saving lives.
