A United States Air Force technical sergeant from Eatontown was honored for saving lives after a helicopter crash.
Sgt. Richard Reid is stationed in Kenya and came across a crashed helicopter. Reid is a medical technician who knew what to do and saved the lives of crew members and a pilot who had a traumatic brain injury.
The Air Force honored Reid for his bravery and actions.
