Residents across the country can turn their lunch into a life-changing opportunity today as Jersey Mike's Subs celebrates its annual "Day of Giving."
On Wednesday, March 25, more than 3,200 Jersey Mike's locations nationwide will donate 100 percent of their total sales to support athletes attending the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games.
The fundraiser marks the culmination of the company's 16th annual "Month of Giving" campaign. For only the second time in the campaign's history, every franchise in the country is rallying behind a single cause. The company hopes to surpass the record-breaking $30 million raised during last year's event. Since its inception in 2011, the Month of Giving has raised more than $143 million for local charities.
"As a presenting partner of the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games, we are proud to support a mission rooted in inclusion and opportunity," said Charlie Morrison, CEO of Jersey Mike's. "We invite everyone to join us in celebrating Special Olympics athletes."
The funds raised will directly assist nearly 3,000 athletes traveling to Minnesota's Twin Cities for the USA Games, scheduled for June 20-26. Competitors will face off in 16 sports, including traditional favorites like swimming and basketball, alongside newcomers like pickleball and cornhole.
Jersey Mike's, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, has maintained a partnership with the Special Olympics since 1975. Customers who cannot make it to a store today still have the option to "round up" their purchase to the nearest dollar or donate through the Jersey Mike's app throughout the remainder of March.
