Jersey City Mayor Fulop confirms city’s 4th coronavirus case, expansion of restrictions

Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop has confirmed the town Sunday evening had their fourth positive case of the coronavirus.

Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop has confirmed the town Sunday evening had their fourth positive case of the coronavirus.

The mayor made the announcement on Twitter.
This morning, Jersey City is taking the steps via executive order to expand restrictions that were implemented last week.

Effective noon today, the following establishments will be closed:
Bars and nightclubs that do not serve food
Movie theaters and performance centers
Gyms, fitness centers, state licensed cosmetology establishments, barber shops, day care centers, nail salons, non-urgent medical offices, including dental, physical therapy clinics, chiropractor
The following restrictions will also apply:
All restaurants are prohibited from providing dine-in services, but will be allowed to do take-out, delivery, and drive-thru.
The restrictions do not apply too:
Grocery stores, cafeterias within nursing homes or similar facilities.
