A development in Hudson County wants to serve as a one-stop-shop for professional and personal needs.
CMPND is a new apartment community that is located in Journal Square in Jersey City.
“When we bring people in, we like to focus on the differences in the floors,” says community manager Rebecca Minacapelli.
The complex has an area for people to hang out and relax and also its own gym. And with more people working from home because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there are also co-working office spaces in the building.
"They can't work from home. They can't focus. The kids are being noisy or ‘I have a roommate and I don't have the space and I've been surrounded by these four walls for months’, and you know, ‘I need something that's close, that's accessible, that offers what I need,’” Minacapelli says.
The building is also energy efficient, has motion-sensor lighting, less water consumption and recycling.
In addition to the work and play amenities, CMPND also has 24-7 concierge service.
